Walter received his Associates of Science in Drafting Technology at East Central College in Union, Missouri in 1996.  He then went on to Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg, Missouri where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Drafting Technology in 1998.  Walter took several classes at Johnson County Community College in Overland Park, Kansas and worked full time while attending the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering in December 2008. Walter passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam in April 2008.  

Walter has worked with CEO Structural Engineers, Inc. since its incorporation in January, 2002.
