Chris received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics and Cinema Studies at the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas in 1984.  In 1988 he returned to KU where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering in 1990.  After passing the Principles & Practice exam to become a licensed Professional Engineer in 1995, he returned to KU once more to work on his Masters of Science in Civil Engineering, concentrating on Structural Engineering.  Chris graduated from KU for the third time in 2000.  Among his many accomplishments, Chris taught three advanced classes at KU, authored a new theory, design manual, new technique and a book.

Chris began CEO Structural Engineers, Inc. in his home in November, 2001.
