What do we mean by “evolving” a solution?
Quite simply, we marry common sense with a highly-developed
structural engineering skill. We use that marriage to create
project-specific state-of-the-art computer spreadsheet routines
which we then use to generate several design solutions to a given
problem. Then among those in front of us, all of which are
viable, we can whittle down to an optimum.
